Dream Day Spa has been a well known staple in Westport for over 10 years but when that little heavenly sign popped up just a few doors down from Vineyard Vines right here our little gem I was beside myself. For years I have heard of their unmatched massages and their fabulous facials but only until this week was it hear say. As the details for the upcoming Fashion’s Night Out we’re being confirmed one by one it was only fair to take a break and check out the newest spa in town. From the moment I walked in the eucalyptus scented air and the relaxing ambiance brought me to a rare state of contentment. With a palette of whites and grays, with a splash if blue here and there, the color scheme and interior design of Dream Day Spa were enough to hurdle you into a dream state. After a hour long Swedish massage followed by a glycolic ($145)and collagen facial ($145) I was more relaxed than I have ever been. With a hair cut and blow dry left on the to-do list I figured why not check out their salon?! ($80+) Sitting in their beyond comfortable salon chairs and chatting with Nektarious as I told him all about the new rage of babyccinos I was over the moon thrilled when he swiveled me around. Blown out to perfection with a sophisticated yet subtle cut, Nek (as in Nektarious- he is Greek) had really done a beautiful job with my platinum locks. As I gathered my things and reluctantly removed the plushy robe that I didn’t want to give back, I left Dream wondering if they would ever consider renaming it Heaven. I walked out of their glamorous spa that day and the lyrics to one of my favorite songs, “wide awake” by Katy Perry, popped into my head as I related to her in feeling like I was “falling from cloud nine” as I left the building.
